"We are here, we are queer" is a collection of 21 video art pieces in which participants were invited to play with gender roles, transforming, inverting, perverting, or confusing them, employing strategies traditionally used by those who have refused to conform to the binary gender norm throughout history. These strategies include makeup, mimicry, gestures, performativity, and camouflage, replicating butch or femme gestures of characters portrayed in classical paintings from art history.

The artworks were exhibited on the two screens of Callao City Lights on June 28, 2017.

o confundiéndolo, empleando estrategias utilizadas tradicionalmente por todas aquellas personas que a lo largo de la historia no han querido vivir conforme a la norma binaria del género masculino-femenino, - como el maquillaje, la mímesis, la gestualidad y el camuflaje - y replicando gestos butch o femme de personajes que aparecen retratados en las pinturas clásicas de la historia del arte.

Las obras se exhibieron en las dos pantallas de Callao City Lights durante el 28 de juniode 2017
